Spring Break = Switzerland

So Daniel and I booked a sweet deal for spring break. We are flying to Geneva, then heading around Geneva Lake about 62 km to Lausanne, Switzerland. Some interesting facts about Lausanne:

  • Lausanne is the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (I don't know if you'll read this Maxi, but thought you might like to know that.)
  • It lies in the middle of a wine region
  • The founder of IKEA (Ingvar Kamprad) resides here
  • Population: 126,800

    Matt, I know that Daniel's Aunt Cookie is VERY excited that ya'll will be visiting. She called me and talked over an hour about your visit--- what ya'll will do, what she will cook, where you will sleep, etc. You will love visiting them....she is an excellent cook and Uncle David will be an equally excellent "tour guide"! Cousin Matthew might even teach you to skate! Thanks for your blog updates--we do so enjoy reading about your visits.
